Facilities with a continuous combined heating and/or chilling and electrical demand are excellent candidates for a Lightfoot Energy CHP system. One of the things that we evaluate when proposing a CHP system design is the balance between electrical power required and heating/cooling required. A system that produces more heat than you can use is not efficient. This is why we often propose smaller systems than other CHP firms, because we want to be sure our customers see the full potential efficiency of our cogeneration systems.
